Icon & Tooltip Reference

This reference guide provides a visual catalog of the icons used across the GriidAi workspace, along with their tooltip text and typical usage context.

Icon	Tooltip Text	Description / Context
	Layers	Opens the Layers and data catalog panel from the right rail.
	Upload Data	Opens the upload flow for adding files to the current session.
	Show layer / {reason why not mappable}	Adds the dataset or map layer to the map when it can be displayed, or explains why it cannot.
	Hide layer	Removes the dataset or map layer from the current map view.
	Show {N} layer(s) / Show all layers ({M}/{N} visible)	Makes all hidden layers in a folder visible on the map.
	Hide {N} layer(s)	Hides all currently visible layers in a folder from the map.
	Symbology Editor	Opens style controls for vector, thematic, or raster layers.
	Selectable: On / Selectable: Off	Turns layer feature selection on or off in the map legend.
	Collapse layer	Hides the expanded legend details for a map layer.
	Expand layer	Shows the expanded legend details for a map layer.
	Options	Opens extra actions for a session or catalog item.
	Send message	Sends the current prompt or chat message.
	Stop generating	Indicates that a response is currently being generated and doubles as the stop control.
	Stop generating	Stops the current AI response while it is streaming.
	Close suggestions	Dismisses the suggestions popup above the chat input.
	Close panel	Closes an open side panel such as the Layers panel or model selector.
	Close sidebar	Hides the left session sidebar on smaller layouts.
	Expand sidebar / Collapse sidebar	Toggles the left session sidebar open or closed.
	Settings	Opens the user actions menu and account-related options.
	Login / Signup	Opens the authentication flow when the user is signed out.
	Hide password	In login and signup forms, hides the password after it has been revealed.
	Show password	In login and signup forms, reveals the password while typing.
	Copied!	Confirms that a code snippet has been copied to the clipboard.
	Copy code	Copies the current code snippet to the clipboard.
	Close editor	Closes an open symbology or style editor panel.
	Select Multiple / No items to select	Switches the data catalog into multi-select mode when selectable items are available.
	New folder	Creates a new folder in the data catalog.
	Move selected datasets and folders / Maps cannot be moved / No movable items selected	Moves the current catalog selection into another folder when the selection supports that action.
	Share selected datasets	Shares the selected datasets with other sessions.
	Delete selected / Remove shared assets from this session / Delete owned items and remove shared assets	Removes the current catalog selection, with the exact action depending on ownership and sharing state.
	Exit selection (Esc) / Maps cannot be moved	Exits multi-select mode in the data catalog.
	Shared with this session	Marks a dataset that was shared into the current session.
	Remove from session	Removes a shared dataset from the current session without deleting the original asset.
	Shared to {X} session(s)	Shows that a dataset has been shared to one or more other sessions.
	Close {layer name} tab	Closes one dataset tab in the attribute table drawer.
	Close table	Closes the attribute table panel.
	Clear selection	Clears the current row or feature selection in the attribute table.
	Zoom to selected features	Zooms the map to the features selected in the attribute table.
	Collapse row details	Hides expanded details for an attribute table row.
	Expand row details	Shows additional details for an attribute table row.
	Download	Downloads a finished export file.
	Delete	Deletes an export record from the exports list.
	Close	Closes the inline export panel.
	Export format selected (visual indicator)	Marks the export format currently selected by the user.
	Close metadata	Closes the dataset metadata dialog.
	Back to parent folder	Moves up one folder level while choosing a destination in the move dialog.
	Help Center	Opens quick access to support, documentation, and policy links.
	Support Request	Opens the support request form for help with issues.
	Share Feedback	Opens the feedback form for product comments and suggestions.
	Video Library	Opens the in-app library of walkthrough and training videos.
	Remove file	Removes an attachment from the Support Request form before it is submitted.
	Close video	Closes the onboarding or help video modal.
	Remove {fileName} / Remove archive {archiveName}	Removes an individual file or archive from the upload queue before it is uploaded.
	Cancel upload	Stops an upload that is still in progress.
	Dismiss	Clears a finished, cancelled, or failed upload activity row.
	Close upload panel	Closes the upload manager panel.
	Close video library	Closes the video library panel.
